Project Description
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ministry of Transportation is decided to enlarge the airport and build the airport due to the exponentially increasing the number of tourists every year. The joint venture which has the one of the partner TERMINAL YAPI won the tender and awarded the contract in 2012. The new airport has 10 million passenger capacity annually and 160.000 m2 passenger terminal building, cargo terminal building, concrete pavement of 3.500 m long runway, 3.500 m long taxiway, 165.000 m2 apron ,air control tower, airport external and internal roads, bridges and all other airport auxiliary service buildings. The airport will be operated and constructed by TERMINAL YAPI for 25 years period.
